Job Title:Development Fellow (GIS)
Job Specification:  Create, update, and maintain GIS maps and spatial datasets for telecom networks.Perform spatial analysis for cell sites, fiber routes, coverage and network planning.Manage and update telecom-related GIS layers.Assist in coverage analysis, site feasibility, and network optimization.Work with shapefiles, KML/KMZ, GeoJSON, and other spatial formats.Ensure data accuracy, validation, and quality control of GIS datasets.Generate thematic maps, dashboards, and reports for management.Assist in legacy GIS data cleanup and migration.Maintain proper GIS documentation and metadata.GIS mapping software products (ESRI & QGIS).Experience as a GIS Analyst, preferably in the telecom domain.Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, projections and coordinate systems.Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS or spatial databases (preferred).Remote sensing & satellite image interpretation.The ability to translate requirements into working solution scenarios.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.Fresh or of relevant experience in the design, development & implementation of GIS systems.
