Job Specification:
| · Support the CTO in implementing the organization’s technology and infrastructure roadmap. · Manage day-to-day data center operations, including maintenance, capacity planning, and performance optimization. · Assist in the design, deployment, and upgrade of infrastructure to ensure scalability and resilience. · Monitor network, storage, and compute environments, ensuring uptime and security compliance. · Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, maintenance contracts, and SLA compliance. · Maintain technical documentation, asset registers, and compliance with ISO and Tier certification standards. · Assist in incident management, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. · Support integration of emerging technologies such as AI, Quantum, and IoT into existing infrastructure. · Participate in R&D collaborations, proof-of-concept testing, and innovation projects. · Ensure cybersecurity best practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance (PECA 2016, PSS & ISO standards). · Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior management review. · Perform any other tasks assigned by management. |
Qualifications: · MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field from an HEC-recognized university. · PhD will be preferred · Certifications such as CCIE/CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent Data Center certifications are desirable. · Knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies (AI / Quantum Computing / IoT) will be an advantage.. | |
Experience: · Minimum 12 years of professional experience in technology operations, data center management, or infrastructure engineering. · Proven record in system implementation, server/network management, and IT infrastructure planning. · Hands-on experience in Data Center operations, virtualization, cloud integration, and cybersecurity protocols. · Exposure to emerging technologies, research computing, or digital transformation projects preferred. · Strong team leadership, vendor coordination, and project execution skills. | |
