On 16 September 2026, Quantum Valley Pakistan marked a landmark beginning with its inauguration ceremony, bringing together national leadership and leading global innovation experts to shape Pakistan’s future in quantum technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The ceremony was graced by Prof. Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary, Federal Minister, Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, alongside Mr. Tim Rowe, Founder & Executive Chairman, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center); Mr. Seena Amidi, Partner, Plug and Play; Mr. Dougan Sherwood, Partner, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center); Dr. Kashif Rahim and Dr. Najeebullah Marwat.
Quantum Valley Pakistan is being developed in partnership with leading global innovation networks, including CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) and Plug and Play, connecting Pakistan’s emerging technology ecosystem with global expertise, networks, and opportunities.
The inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter focused on advancing quantum technology, fostering innovation, empowering talent, and building globally connected technology ventures from Pakistan.
